double digits

Our sweet boy turned 10 yesterday! ...so very tiny in this photo--- exploring the harbor of Grand Marais with his Dad. How can i thank God sufficiently for this gentle, brown- eyed, lamb? What can i say about a boy who loves hot tea, the 3 stooges, and wants a CD of traditional Japanese music for his present? We love his caring ways, quirky sense of humor, his science bent, his fascination with other cultures, and his dreams. Happy Birthday JACOBI, you are an irreplaceable gift to this big world. May God enfold you with wisdom, joy, and the growing knowledge of His companionship all of your days.

Ha! You still found a way to sneakily tack the 'e' sound on the end of his double-digit name... ;-) Happy b-day, Jake - YOU are smart and cool.

I am so grateful that our kids are growing up together and that we get to witness Jake turning into such a great young man. Happy Birthday!

hey dear ones- thanks for your warm comments! V-ie, You got me!! Aaaurgh- the poor kid - it's inevitable- anyone i love dearly, and meets my cute-ness quotient seems to get an "e" sound attatched to their names!!! i was'nt aware of how much i do it- but just realized i've been doing it to you too, huh? just hopeless...

One of my favorite kids on the planet, that Jacob. May the Force (God's unmatched love and favor) be with you, young master Karrkenobi!
